Central Node in LTE Network Architecture

The Serving Gateway (SGW) acts as a central node in the LTE network architecture. It routes and forwards user data packets, while also playing a key role in mobility management. The SGW serves as a local mobility anchor, handling data transfer when a user moves between eNodeBs (the base stations in LTE networks).
